Steff Miller knows how to think outside the box! In her Live With Prima episode last month. Steff used the amazing Altered Birdhouse from Finnabair to create the perfect resting place for her mini album. This is a project sure to be wowed by all who lay their eyes on it! Steff decorates the altered birdhouse with vines, flowers and papers and then creates an adorable little mini album from a wooden box. In fact that wooden box is nearly the packaging from one of Prima’s treasured wood icons.
We’ll let the photos speak for themselves on this one…
We had to make a few small adjustments to the original product list due to availability. We substituted some flowers with two full packs of collection flowers that coordinate perfectly. No worries – the orange flowers and vines which stand out are included in the kit. In addition we weren’t able to get our hands on the metal trinkets but we did add one filigree pieces that can be substituted on the front of the birdhouse so you can lay that pretty little flower down. Otherwise, it’s all in there. Check out the complete product list here.
As always, kits are limited so get them while you can!
Thanks for checking in. Coming very soon… a BEAUTIFUL layout kit from Elena Tretiakova. Her romantic style is just stunning!
Tomorrow night Steff Miller be back on Live with Prima creating another fabulous mini album, Beach Life. She will show you how to assemble your own mini album using a fun variety of scrapbooking tools along with fun ways to take advantage of the gorgeous Prima packaging! As usual, this kit is loaded with goodies that you can follow along to make your own. It’s packed with a full collection pack from the brand new Seashore line from Prima, along with 30 4″x6″ papers from the ATC Pad, 1/2 pack of tickets and tags, paperclips, flowers and lots more. Only thing we couldn’t get our hands on were those pretty gold flowers. We even went so far as to die-cut the covers for you in case you don’t have the awesome Tim Holtz Sizzix on the Edge Die Steff used.
When you purchase the kit, please specify if you need rings instead of the o-wire from Zutter. If you don’t have a Bind it all machine, we recommend using a Crop-O-Dile with binder rings – we’ll throw them in your kit so you have if you don’t need the wire. Just add in comments or shoot us an email. We aim to please around here.
Here it is….
Cute, right? Can’t go wring with Steff’s style, this line and the colors. Perfect for so many memories. You can watch the show live here…
“Beach Life: Mini Album with Steff Miller Thursday, April 24th at 17th at 6:30pm PT/ 9:30pm ET 4/25-2:30am GMT/ 1:30pm Sydney
Thanks Steff for the great kit – can’t wait for the show.
new pieces from Blue Fern Studios will be added tot he store.
Steph Miller‘s infectious smile always comes out in her work. Her latest exclusive kit, Dream Big, for the Scrapbook Diaries is no different. She uses the ever hard to find Optimist Collection from Prima mixed with a binder album from BoBunny. This chalkboard look works seamlessly with all sorts of photos.
Kits are limited and once they’re sold out… that’s it. As is… we ran very low on one of the sheets of paper Steph uses and couldn’t find it anywhere so that’s why you’ll get 6 1/2 sheets of Optimist papers plus another from KaiserCraft and American Crafts. You’ll have more than enough goodies in your kit to recreate Steph’s album or make your own variation. All materials just blend with one another. The pink chalk edger and white Signo pen also really make your elements pop.
Here’s some pics of this great 8″ x 9″ Album….
And here’s what you get in the kit:
You won’t need much in addition to the kit with the exception of scissors, trimmer, adhesive, foam tape and a corner rounder if you have. The rest is real y in there.
Thanks for stopping by today. Next week we have another new designer to announce. If you like mixed media art and 7Dots you might have seen her work before! In suspense? 🙂
Without further ado…. Steph Miller has rocked yet another album! She has made a “mini” album for The Scrapbook Diaries. I put the mini in quotes for no other reason than it’s not really a “mini” – at 8″, is it mini? It certainly isn’t after Steff gets done with it. The cool Farm House album is dressed up with Nirvana paper from Marion Smith. These papers are PERFECT for creating a mini album?
Debate over… This album is perfect for adding photos of your loved ones or giving as a gift. Steff provides a brief video showcasing the cover and pages she made. We’ll provide color photos of the pages when you purchase the kit. Materials included are listed in product description – it’s loaded.
Steph Miller has totally got me back in love with mini albums. I used to make nothing but mini albums and then… I don’t know… things changes… haven’t made a mini album in probably 4 years or so. Now… Oh… I want to make more. This was so fun and is so cute! One day the kids will be old enough for school and I will put it to use. 🙂
This project shows you how to change an ugly clipboard from the Dollar Store and turn it in to a treasure to show off school photos and memorabilia. The details and how to’s are just awesome! With lots of layers, you can make an amazing mini album of your own.
