Have I been lazy or what? Haven’t written a blog post for over 2 weeks!!! I sure you not lady just playing catch up. Between filling so many orders for Gabrielle Pollacco’s last kits, stocking new products and working on a top secret project you are all sure to LOVE…. I’ve simply neglected the blog. But rest assured we are getting organized.
So tonight I bring to you a wonderful mini album created by the very talented Delaina Burns. Delaina uses printed papers from Meg’s Garden from Australia. This special album is a perfect gift or keepsake.
The album has 6-page spreads filled with pockets and tags. Here’s a look inside…
Soft purples, pinks and a bit of red. Just beautiful! Thanks Delaina!
In addition to this new kit we had a bunch of new ScrapFx pieces arrive. they were added to the store last week along with the latest collection from Maja Design, Vintage Romance.
And I believe we have 2 boxes of Dusty Attic arriving any day and the brand new Tranquility Collection from Blue Fern Studios arriving Monday. So stay tuned! New kits coming too – another area I have fallen behind. Our designers have been busy so check back often.
As you may have noted, I am delayed! Last week’s Prima frenzy thew a kink in the works. We were too busy getting orders out to even think about posting new kits. Good news is, we’re back on track – or so I think for the moment.
Delaina Burns has joined out family at The Scrapbook Diaries! Her first kit is an adorable mini album featuring a school theme. It’s the perfect mini for highlighting yearly school photos! Filled with layers and bright colors… just a treat! And I have to say her video is nothing short of detailed. She has it all in there… measurements, descriptions, etc.
When you purchase the kit, you’ll get materials needed to follow along (read complete product description) as well as access to her online tutorial. We’ll also send you color photos of each page for reference.
Take a look…
And a sample or two of some interior pages…
Love the pop of colors and layers – there’s pockets and flaps – so cute! Thank you Delaina! So happy to have you on board!!!
As for new products… well, it’s coming in daily. We’ll work on getting everything posted very soon. We have new chipboards from Dusty Attic and ScrapFX as well as the brand new paper line from Blue Fern. Look for it all in the next day or two.
New kits – we’ll have the snow kit from Rachelle I mentioned last week. Then we have to get working on kits fro mDi Garling and Pascale B! Always something going on here!
Frank Garcia has been a busy guy lately. Not only has he been to Spain and Sweden in the last few weeks but he was busy making a set of brand new album kits exclusively for us.
The latest pair of albums – baby boy and baby girl albums are the perfect showcase for the brand new bundle of joy or to give as a gift. They are only available in very limited quantities. Grab it while you can. We wish we could make more but the paper line is no longer available. (Good news is Frank and I are always applying something so we have lots of other fun new things in store so don’t fret if you miss out).
Here’s his new babies…
Oh so beautiful in Frank’s signature style we know and love! The paid are pretty close to identical- just a few change ups in flowers and imagery.
The albums are created using our coveted stock of 6″ x 6″ Square memory Hardware Albums (we are sold out otherwise on these albums). So no need to spend time binding the book. All set and ready to go for a fun time of embellishing. Lots of gorgeous Pion papers used int his album for al the layering. Frank does use a few decorative border punches from his stash to add a little more flair.
Between these albums, the brand new ScrapFx chipboard pieces we added earlier this weekend and the new Vintage Baby paper line from Maja Design, seems babies are on the mind all over the place. Why shouldn’t they be? Perfect topic for showcasing such a truly memorable point in our loved ones lives. And of course we won’t stop here with this topic. You are sure to see a kit or two featuring the Maja Vintage Baby line.
Thanks for stopping in – this girl is off to bed! Have a great night.
We have another exclusive album kit from Frank Garcia for The Scrapbook Diaries! This album kit features the wonderful Christmas line A Gift For You from Maja Design along with a bunch of Prima goodies. This delightful holiday album sparkles with holiday cheer. How could it not when it uses the beautiful A Gift For You from Maja Design papers? Mix in Frank’s unique style and a bunch of Prima flowers and resin frames and you have one stunning album.
The little details Frank incorporates are beautiful. Kit comes complete with rosette trim, china and locket. We even included the beautifully delicate Wycinanka chippies used. These whir chipboards are perfect for adding a soft touch that packs a punch.
Here’s some page shots…
As if you were;t excited for Christmas before, how can you hold back now? 🙂
And how cute and clever – Frank used a little left over trim from the Avalon Flower on the page above to make a ribbon type flower. Love it!
These kits are limited so get it while you can!!!
Oh wait – I almost forgot. We included a little freebee with Gabi’s kit this week so why not do another one? When you purchase this kit we have an adorable mini chippie from ScrapFX perfectly fitting of our motif!

Thanks for stopping by. More coming – a new layout from the one and only Gabrielle Pollacco!!! I do know this one is going to sell out quick and due to one of the products not being produced or available anymore… Oh reminds me – if you emailed me about Gabi’s last kit and are on the waiting list for the second batch – I will be emailing you today! Sorry it took so long.
Winding down summer but need a home for all those seaside memories? Frank Garcia brings us an exclusive kit filled with unique pieces to create a one-of-a-kind album. Beautiful Pion and UHK Gallery papers are the basis for this handmade book. These hard to find international papers and Frank’s style make this a keepsake to stand the test of time. Materials included in product description along with step-by-step directions with photos (video can be followed for creation of album base).
This album measures 6.2″ x 6.2″ – just enough room around the edges to show the Frank’s favorite Antique White paint – the same one he uses on all his “white” based albums. The size is perfect for those Pion papers that are quartered with varying patterns. Makes a sheet of paper go the distance. You can see the complete product listing with all materials included here.
Some sample pages…
It’s truly a beautiful album perfect for any beach memorabilia or photos you really want to cherish over the years!
Forgot to mention a few new products added to the store… FINALLY posted Dusty Attic! It’s been here for a while and just slow at getting everything done around here. We still have more Blue Fern to post and all those yummy Prima products that came in weeks ago. As always, feel free to email me if you’re looking for something in particular. We also added the Color Bloom Sprays individually now.
The site only allows for a flat-rate of $47. Great for heavy, large orders, not so good for small orders. We can ship stamps/stencils worldwide for $9-13 usually. Kits usually ship for $18-24 depending on weight and location. 2 kits – $20-28. Please contact us if you would like a price quote – include product(s) and Country.
New kits coming – later in the week/weekend – a new layout from Kasia Krzyminska putting one of her new stamps to great use!
Tomorrow night Steff Miller be back on Live with Prima creating another fabulous mini album, Beach Life. She will show you how to assemble your own mini album using a fun variety of scrapbooking tools along with fun ways to take advantage of the gorgeous Prima packaging! As usual, this kit is loaded with goodies that you can follow along to make your own. It’s packed with a full collection pack from the brand new Seashore line from Prima, along with 30 4″x6″ papers from the ATC Pad, 1/2 pack of tickets and tags, paperclips, flowers and lots more. Only thing we couldn’t get our hands on were those pretty gold flowers. We even went so far as to die-cut the covers for you in case you don’t have the awesome Tim Holtz Sizzix on the Edge Die Steff used.
When you purchase the kit, please specify if you need rings instead of the o-wire from Zutter. If you don’t have a Bind it all machine, we recommend using a Crop-O-Dile with binder rings – we’ll throw them in your kit so you have if you don’t need the wire. Just add in comments or shoot us an email. We aim to please around here.
Here it is….
Cute, right? Can’t go wring with Steff’s style, this line and the colors. Perfect for so many memories. You can watch the show live here…
“Beach Life: Mini Album with Steff Miller Thursday, April 24th at 17th at 6:30pm PT/ 9:30pm ET 4/25-2:30am GMT/ 1:30pm Sydney
Thanks Steff for the great kit – can’t wait for the show.
new pieces from Blue Fern Studios will be added tot he store.
Steph Miller‘s infectious smile always comes out in her work. Her latest exclusive kit, Dream Big, for the Scrapbook Diaries is no different. She uses the ever hard to find Optimist Collection from Prima mixed with a binder album from BoBunny. This chalkboard look works seamlessly with all sorts of photos.
Kits are limited and once they’re sold out… that’s it. As is… we ran very low on one of the sheets of paper Steph uses and couldn’t find it anywhere so that’s why you’ll get 6 1/2 sheets of Optimist papers plus another from KaiserCraft and American Crafts. You’ll have more than enough goodies in your kit to recreate Steph’s album or make your own variation. All materials just blend with one another. The pink chalk edger and white Signo pen also really make your elements pop.
Here’s some pics of this great 8″ x 9″ Album….
And here’s what you get in the kit:
You won’t need much in addition to the kit with the exception of scissors, trimmer, adhesive, foam tape and a corner rounder if you have. The rest is real y in there.
Thanks for stopping by today. Next week we have another new designer to announce. If you like mixed media art and 7Dots you might have seen her work before! In suspense? 🙂
Steph Miller has totally got me back in love with mini albums. I used to make nothing but mini albums and then… I don’t know… things changes… haven’t made a mini album in probably 4 years or so. Now… Oh… I want to make more. This was so fun and is so cute! One day the kids will be old enough for school and I will put it to use. 🙂
This project shows you how to change an ugly clipboard from the Dollar Store and turn it in to a treasure to show off school photos and memorabilia. The details and how to’s are just awesome! With lots of layers, you can make an amazing mini album of your own.
