It’s not Frank Garcia‘s birthday today but it might as well be yours… we posted not one, not two but three kits all from the one and only Frank Garcia today!
First we have Frank’s last Live with Prima project, Le Collectionneur II available as a kit. This kit is loaded with the materials Frank used to create his beautiful album (see complete product description for details and substitutions based on product availability at time of kit). You can follow frank along on his video for the complete how-to instruction. We also included photos of the completed pages (please note no written direction is provided with Live with Prima kits).
Second, we have Frank’s next Live with Prima project, Aujourd’hui Layout, which will air on Tuesday, March 31st at 2:00 PM EST. Can’t make the lie show? No problem, they tape all recordings so you can watch at your convenience or as many times as you like. This is this first kit we were able to pull off in advance. Won’t it be fun to play at the same time Frank is going it? What better way to ask any questions you may have.
Both of the above projects feature Frank’s latest signature collection, The Archivist. If you haven’t gotten your hands on it, better do it before it’s all gone! And don’t get me started on his Memory Hardware line… drooling – the albums are the best quality I have seen and limited supply will make these in high demand.
Third, we are so honored to have Frank as our friend. He graciously made an exclusive album for us featuring the Paris line from Pion, Papillon II! The beautiful creams, pinks and blues make this a delightful album that makes you have to smile. The pop of color is just the thing for the coming months of spring (here in the US anyway). Please note these kits are so limited and doubtful we will be able to stock too many more in the future.
Thanks for checking in. Big day, huh? 3 kits? What were we thinking? 🙂 New products continuing to come in and more shipping notices that we will have lots of fun new goodies in now time. Next week kits… Maja Nowak and Gabrielle Pollacco!
Last week Frank created another beautiful album from scratch using Prima’s Cigar Box collection on Live with Prima. This one of a kind album will be treasured for years to come. La Boheme II is a 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ album made from sturdy chipboard.
Stunning right? We included all the pieces on this one – even the gold paint, feather and unique sequin trim Frank used! for a complete list of products included, please see the description area of our product listing. Only slight substitution is the dangling chain.
Thank you Frank for allowing us to make these kits to coordinate with you videos!
And in case you missed yesterdays post, we added BRAND NEW Ingvild Bolme Products and replenished our stock of Color Bloom Sprays. Maybe one of these days I’ll even add all the pretty flowers I have on hand from this past release. I know I can part with some but it is such sweet sorrow I really have to be accepting of this. One day soon I promise. 🙂
We will be sure to add new designers and some more form your favorites real soon. In fact, we promised Keren Tamir‘s first kit this week and it is coming. Hopefully friday – just waiting on some watercolors. We’ll also have another layout from the ever talented Elena Tretiakova. Her shabby layouts are a fan favorite for sure!
New Products Coming Soon – Brand New Distress Mists from Ranger -complete collection of colors.
Better late than never right? The Cafe Au Lait AlbumFrank Garcia made on Live With Prima last month is now available as a kit from The Scrapbook Diaires! This beautiful pastel album stands at 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″. You can see all the steps Frank took to make this one on Live With Prima here. When you purchase the kit, you’ll get just about everything needed to make this album on your own (see product details on product page here).
Isn’t it pretty? Love it! Such a beautiful array of flowers and lot so pockets on the inside for all kinds of possibilities.
Here are some inside pages…
Thanks for stopping by. More coming – a new layout from the one and only Gabrielle Pollacco!!! I do know this one is going to sell out quick and due to one of the products not being produced or available anymore… Oh reminds me – if you emailed me about Gabi’s last kit and are on the waiting list for the second batch – I will be emailing you today! Sorry it took so long.
Ah… to be in the mind of Steff Miller… the one and only has brought us an amazing tutorial via Live With Prima. Her latest album uses wood frames for cover, sheets of vellum and acetate. Mix that with Prima’s latest Epiphany line and you get one amazing album! The recorder version of her recreation of this album can be found here.
We are so lucky Steff has allowed us to make this in to a kit for you. It isn’t prove easy and might require me to be very nice to hubby since I put him to work after a long day of work. His job… pulling out staples and whatnot from the wooden frames along with drilling holes. yes, these kits come with pre-drilled holes so you don’t have to worry about it. it’s the little things, right? 🙂
The kit is loaded with papers, ephemera, flowers and more. I do want to note we were unable to source the exact back frame used but got one pretty close. The front laser-cut frame is the same. We included just about everything…. you’ll need a little gesso and some other tools (you can find a complete list under product description).
Some samples pages…
I wasn;t kidding when I said this one was amazing, right? In addition to the products, we included 4 pages of photos and directions to go along with the video.
As always, thanks for stopping by. More to come soon. In fact – I have lots coming as I am so behind in posting and adding to the store. New products, new kits – albums and layouts alike. If all goes as planned, you’ll see more this week.
Tomorrow night Steff Miller be back on Live with Prima creating another fabulous mini album, Beach Life. She will show you how to assemble your own mini album using a fun variety of scrapbooking tools along with fun ways to take advantage of the gorgeous Prima packaging! As usual, this kit is loaded with goodies that you can follow along to make your own. It’s packed with a full collection pack from the brand new Seashore line from Prima, along with 30 4″x6″ papers from the ATC Pad, 1/2 pack of tickets and tags, paperclips, flowers and lots more. Only thing we couldn’t get our hands on were those pretty gold flowers. We even went so far as to die-cut the covers for you in case you don’t have the awesome Tim Holtz Sizzix on the Edge Die Steff used.
When you purchase the kit, please specify if you need rings instead of the o-wire from Zutter. If you don’t have a Bind it all machine, we recommend using a Crop-O-Dile with binder rings – we’ll throw them in your kit so you have if you don’t need the wire. Just add in comments or shoot us an email. We aim to please around here.
Here it is….
Cute, right? Can’t go wring with Steff’s style, this line and the colors. Perfect for so many memories. You can watch the show live here…

Better late than never, right? La Vie III as featured earlier this month by Frank Garcia on Live With Prima is now available as a kit here at The Scrapbook Diaries. This is an awesome project where you’ll leaner just how easy it is to make your very own mini album. And what could be better than using Frank’s very own Cartographer Collection from Prima? This kit is loaded….
Yes, even the adorable metal closure is included!!! You’ll get everything you need to make the album minus the Bloom Spray mists from Prima. These mists are used to color the resin pieces but they’re just not available quite yet.

Back in January, Frank Garcia debuted his Cartographer line on Live with Prima. From the moment I saw it, I knew we needed to turn this one in to a kit. So with Frank’s permission and the arrival of these amazing products… here we are today able to offer it. We packed the kit with just about everything you need to complete the sample shown as detailed in the Live with Prima episode.
You’ll get the papers, flowers, gems, etc…. the only things we didn’t have right now are the ATC papers (Temps – you can use a spare piece of the paper to replace this) and the background stamp. In addition we had to substitute the Bloom Sprays from Prima due to availability (we’ll have them in April) but you’ll find the Artist Pigment Powders fro Luminarte a great substitute.
This is the perfect layout for this line. Who doesn’t love these balloons?
As with our Live with Prima kits, you won’t get written instructions but the video is a great how-to to follow along.
Coming up soon… more Prima products (we got those trims and wires slog with lots more if I’m willing to part with). 🙂 Also a new kit from Felicity Wilson. We’re also putting together a kit from Adrienne Ford’s debut on Live with Prima later this month using Stationer’s Desk. So stay tuned!
Steph Miller has totally got me back in love with mini albums. I used to make nothing but mini albums and then… I don’t know… things changes… haven’t made a mini album in probably 4 years or so. Now… Oh… I want to make more. This was so fun and is so cute! One day the kids will be old enough for school and I will put it to use. 🙂
This project shows you how to change an ugly clipboard from the Dollar Store and turn it in to a treasure to show off school photos and memorabilia. The details and how to’s are just awesome! With lots of layers, you can make an amazing mini album of your own.
