We’ve been busy around here despite the holiday season and everything else busy going on.
We have a brand new kit bu the ever talented Lisa Griffith. In fact, this is Lasa’s last kit for The Scrapbook Diaries. We’ll miss her fabulous vintage flair and wish her well in all her future endeavors. But before she goes, she brings us another kit filled with color and beautiful details. For this one, she uses one of my favorite lines, Ombre Dream by Blue Fern Studios.
The pinks and purples in this one really pack a punch. The kit comes just about complete. We offered a basic and complete version – only difference i the complete kit has the 6×6 Prima Wall #3 Stencil. Basic comes with the paint, mist, pear, chippies and more. It’s a beautiful layout and fun to follow along the step-by-step door photos (no videos on this one). Here’s a pic at the bonus sample I came up with to coordinate….
When you purchase this kit this month, you’ll get a free pack of Thickers from American Crafts as a little thank you and a… “tis the season”.
In addition to this new kit, we also got some fabulous new products in stock. If you follow Gabrielle Pollacco like I am sure most of you do, you might have caught a look at her latest layout… Love Completely. As always Gabrielle packs a punch and brings on the fabulous products to create her masterpieces. Ironically enough, we got two deliveries this week.. Maja Design and Dusty Attic. You can stock up on some of the pieces she uses as well as a bunch of others you are sue to see down the road. We have the complete Nyhavn Collection. It’s beautiful and so delicate like all Maja papers and the background are just amazing! And Maja even came out with a collection pack of their own for this limited edition release with a bonus paper not otherwise available!
As for Dusty Attic… we brought in a whole lot more…. all sorts of pieces. Here’s just a few…
We still have Blue Fern Studios chipboard to add to the store and an album kit from Elena Morgun before the year domes to an end. Can I fit it all in? I sure hope so. Once the year starts we;ll have lots of exciting announcements… New designers and new products!!!
Don’t you just love the nostalgic look that Lisa Griffith brings us? Her latest kit, 1859, is no different. She combines the use of an Izink, Artist Pigment Powders and mist to create the look and feel of an authentic time piece. Not that her photos don’t help there. 🙂
When you purchase the kit, you’ll get color step-by-step photos detailing how Lisa got the results she did. Please note this kit does NOT include video instruction. You’ll get the materials needed to complete the 2-pages shown below. Be sure to read the product description as we offered this kit in 3 versions – basic (materials listed), Plus (materials plus the mediums used) and Complete (materials, mediums and stamp set). The stamp set used was from the June 2014 Beauty and Grunge kit as well as previously used in Lisa’s Beautiful Boy kit.
Thanks for stopping in. More coming next week. Have a great weekend! Can’t wait for apple picking!!!
Lisa Griffith has an amazing ability to create the vintage vibe over and again. Her latest it, Beautiful Boy, is filled with mixed media goodness. In her step-by-step directions she teaches us how to use chipboard to the fullest.
The kit is loaded with trinkets, flowers, chipboards and more.
We have to wait for all good things, right? I know I’ve been promising this one for a while but it’s finally here! A new kit from Lisa Griffith, Greatest Treasure. This stunning layout gives the look and feel of vintage but can be used with current day photos just as Lisa did with a beautiful picture of her and her son.
Lisa uses a bit of this and that to achieve her final look. The kit comes complete with materials to make both pages shown as well as color step-by-step photos. And you’l get a full roll of a washi tape you are going to want to decorate your house with. OK maybe that’s just me. 😉
The white die-cuts included in the kit were cut from Memory Box dies you can find here. These dies are the BEST I have ever used – literally like butter. And the intricate designs….can’t be beat. In fact this is the second kit this week that uses them… Gabrielle Pollacco used it as well on her featured layout and the bonus page I did. Long story short – you can see these designs all over blogs and magazines because they are so versatile for layouts and cards. OK, enough of the sales pitch.
Back to Lisa’s kit… comes in complete and basic form. Complete includes the Well Rounded Stencil from The Crafters Workshop and small harlequin stamp from Prima. You can find all the kit details here.
Coming next week…. more good things we’ve waited for…. new kits from Misty Russell and Celine Regnier. I know there’s a bunch of you who have been counting down for their return to The Scrapbook Diaries.
Happy Saturday. Better late than never right? Excited to announce we have a new kit from Lisa Griffith. Her vintage look shines through on this one. With a mix of papers from the new Princess collection by Jodi Lee for Prima and assortment of great products, Lisa creates a unique kit with easy to follow instructions (no video).
When you purchase this kit you’ll get color instructions along with the materials needed for these two layouts. A little contrast and both beautiful! Pleas emote we are offering the kit as a complete version and basic (complete includes the Lindy mists and stamp).
For these pages, Lisa uses an assortment of goodies…. Gelato from Faber-Castell, Inka Gold Paint, Prima Stencil and lots of yummy flowers. When you purchase this kit you get just about everything you need (basic supplies, super heavy gesso, stencil and text stamp not included) and written directions with color photos.
Wishing all of you a happy, healthy holiday!!!!!
More before the end of the year. Next kits lined up are from Olga Heldwein and Adrienne Ford. We’ll close for a short break early in January for Art Venture and CHA.
Lisa Griffith is back with another beautiful shabby chic kit for us, Smile. You’re going to be seeing a whole lot more from her in the near future as it was recently announced she made the Blue Fern Studios design team.
Lisa’s latest kit puts a little stencil work to good use along with some misting and dripping. Please note the stencil used is sold separately but otherwise, all is included with written directions to make both layouts shown.
Also updated the store with some new ScrapFX chippies from Australia. We brought more of those amazing pipe work stencils in since they have been a high hit ever since Misty Russell used them in Forever.
Sometimes product lines just call for grander. Delight from Jodi Lee for Prima is just that – full of DELIGHT! When given the collection, Lisa Griffith knew it some something worth expanding on. Her latest kit for The Scrapbook Diaries turned in to a 3-page spread and a card. Our largest yielding kit to date. When you have fabulously coordinating papers and a 12×12 printed chipboard sheet full of great imagery, you can’t help but to keep going and put it all to use. Lisa does her thing and makes this a fabulous shabby chic kit.
Lisa Griffith always brings us gorgeous layouts that have s feeling of shabby chic goodness to them. Her latest kit for The Scrapbook Diaries, Beautiful, is just that. It’s a mix of green with a vintage vibe. No stencil work here but the color comes alive from the nifty little Gelato included. Who doesn’t love those Gelatos from Faber-Castell?
The Beautiful kit comes filled with goodies to make these two pages….
In addition to the supplies to make these two pages, you’ll also receive written step-by-step instructions. Lisa puts the Gelato from Faber-Castell to work a few ways. Always love the tips and tricks.
And while I normal cringe at the thought of a beautiful resin frame from Prima being cracked in half… it really does work. So I’ll have to forgive Lisa for it this time. 🙂
Thanks for checking it out. We’ll have another new kit tomorrow from Elena Olinevich with more Faber-Castell products being showcased.
