Have you missed Keren Tamir here at The Scrapbook Diaries? So have we! Happy to report I am finally ready to post her latest kit for The Scrapbook Diaries, Explore! Keren manages to keep quit busy so you’ll be sure to see lots more of her kits here. 🙂
Her latest kit, Explore packs a punch with the bold color choice of RED. As usual, Keren mixes layers of mist, stamping and more to create a textural masterpiece. See for yourself….
Bold? Yes. And test somehow earthy. I guess with the rock wall and feathers mixed in… yes, those are feathers mixed in with the flowers.
When you purchase this kit, you’ll get access to follow Keren along on her online tutorial as well as the materials needed to create your own layout.
And as usual, we added a few extra pieces so you can make a second page. Here is my sample page…
It was fun getting my hands dirty once again. Seems I haven’t had a chance to sit at my craft table lately but rest assured we’ll be getting back on track soon enough. After all, we have kits lined up from a lot of your favorites so be sure to check back in often.
Keren Tamir is back with another mixed media layout kit for us. Her latest kit, Anchors, is making me with for warmer weather and tropical beaches. For once we’re timing it right for our Aussie friends. Wish I could come for a visit. 🙂
This kit uses paper from the Destination Unknown collection from 7Dots Studio. the dark mysterious papers are a bit haunting to me but Keren mixes it up with two fabulous Shimmerz colors, Ultra Marine and Tickle Me Turquoise. Add some pops of Antique Gold and white gesso and Keren really makes this layout standout. The color combo is just fabulous!
And as with just about all of our kits, I got to make a bonus sample. Had a lot of fun yet again. I used a complimentary paper from the line as I so loved the combination and effect Keren achieved. So here’s a look at mine.
You can find a complete list of products included in the kit under product description. Because the kit uses some popular pieces among our designers, you might already have some of the extra components on hand. for this reason, we are offering it as Complete, Shimmerz and Basic. All versions come with papers and e,hellish, nets. Shimmerz includes the two pots of Shimmerz Paints (Ultra Marine and tickle Me Turquoise). Have you purchased kits from Stacey Young before? If so, you might already have these colors in your stash. The Complete kit includes those plus the 12×12 Sea Bubbles Stencil from Crafters Workshop. You might have that one from Keren’s last kit, Happy, or just because it’s so cool. The complete kit also includes the ever versatile Texture Stamp from Gabrielle Pollacco. Another very popular item in our store so be sure to check out which version you need.
And that’s not all… for all of the kits we feature this ,onto, we’ve been doing some added holiday thank you gifts…. If you purchase this kit this month, we’re throwing in a full pack of DIY Thickers from American Crafts. You might note there’s no official title on the page or bonus… We figured you can ale your own. DIY Thickers are mistable/paintable thcikers or you can leave them white. So happy holidays from here of us at The Scrapbook Diaries!
Still to come, Lisa Griffith’s last kit for the Scrapbook Diaries. The beautiful vintage layout is sure to make you smile!
Finally I am ready to post Keren Tamir’s first kit for The Scrapbook Diaries! And in fact, this kit marks our 100th mixed media kit by some of the most amazing mixed media artists around the world!
I met Keren back at CHA in January and ever since, knew she had to design for us! Her layouts are always filled with texture and vibrant colors. Her works can be seen on all sorts of design teams – Prima, 7Dots Studios and Blue Fern Studio to name only a few.
