Explore by Iris Babao Uy

As far as designer’s go, I think its safe to say that Iris Babao Uy  has a style unique to herself.  From magazine features to manufacturer blogs, this woman is all over the scrapbooking world.  Happy to say Iris agreed to create a kit for The Scrapbook Diaries.  So if you’d like a glimpse at her thought process, this kit is for you.

This kit is loaded with product for you to learn how to create your very own Iris-like layout.  In fact, you’ll be able to create two layouts with a bunch of extra pieces. And who doesn’t love ephemera die-cuts from Maggie Holmes or Vintage Trinket metal pieces from Finnabair/Prima?  And let’s not leave out the great 12×12 stencil which is sure to come in handy.  Here are the sample photos:

I Spy with My Little Eye…

Here’s just a little glimpse of what’s coming this week…

Explore Sneak Peak

Can you guess who this designer is?  Yeah, I’ve never been one for surprises or keeping them for that matter. If you can’t tell by the glimpse, it’s none other than Iris Babao Uy.  I think of all the designers out there, she is one with one of the most identifiable. When you see one of her layouts in a magazine or on the blogs of any of the manufacturer’s she represents, you know it’s her work.

Her upcoming kit for The Scrapbook Diaries is no exception.  She’ll be teaching you how to create that look.  The kit is scheduled to unveil this Friday, May 17th so stay tuned.

And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, we’ll have another sneak peak this week from another new designer for The Scrapbook Diaries!   This is a big week for us, new kits coming from some fabulous designers.

Also have to note a new kit from Kasia!!!!  Seriously – you are going to swoon over this one as well.  If you like her pink works…this one is for you. Seriously, it’s for anyone who wants to explore mixed media. I’ll post more about this in the coming days as well. Kit to be unveiled next week.
