You guys have asked for it so we are FINALLY bringing it to you… Frank Garcia’s Papillon Album featuring Jodi Lee’s Butterfly Collection! Have no idea why this has taken me nearly this long to get this one going but the good news is it is here now!
Beautiful indeed!!!!! With just about all the trinkets and goodies Frank used… we did have to substitute a few minor pieces – i.e. the Crystal Swirls are a little bit different. You can read the full product description here. Tanks Frank for allowing us to turn this beautiful album in to a kit!
In addition to the fabulous album kit, we also added a bunch of new ScrapFx pieces to the storefront. Lots of chipboard titles and a few adorable images…
And a whole lot more! You can find our complete selection of ScrapFx chipboards here.
Did you know Frank Garcia LOVES his flowers? As if it weren’t evident enough, his latest Album Kit Exclusively for The Scrapbook Diaries will prove this very statement! 🙂
Frank has created another amazing album for us! the 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ chunky album is PERFECT for collecting your favorite wedding photos and moments or the PERFECT gift for some very lucky couple. In fact, I am just that! Frank made this album for me and hubby. and I am in love all over again – this time with the album! Thank you Frank for the labor of love and for such an awesome kit!
On to the album… He created this one from scratch with the perfect binding system that you can see on a previously aired Live with Prima episode (Boheme II Album). the rest of the album comes with step-by-step photo directions and just about all the goodies you see. Please read complete product description for full details as there are a few items not included in the kit.
Beyond beautiful and oh so perfect for those treasured wedding memories. And if a wedding isn’t what you had in mind with a little change here or there on some of the printed Pion papers, you could “cover-up” the wedding specific images if you rurally wanted.
When you buy the kit you are getting over 4 full packs of Prima flowers plus a whole bunch of other lovely flowers that we split up from about 4 other packs. You’ll get 19 sheets of printed Pion papers as well as 16 solid card stocks. I should have started this post by saying frank loves his flowers and his paper. I don’t think we’ve ever had a kit with this much paper but don’t quote me for sure.
Frank Garcia has been a busy guy lately. Not only has he been to Spain and Sweden in the last few weeks but he was busy making a set of brand new album kits exclusively for us.
The latest pair of albums – baby boy and baby girl albums are the perfect showcase for the brand new bundle of joy or to give as a gift. They are only available in very limited quantities. Grab it while you can. We wish we could make more but the paper line is no longer available. (Good news is Frank and I are always applying something so we have lots of other fun new things in store so don’t fret if you miss out).
Here’s his new babies…
Oh so beautiful in Frank’s signature style we know and love! The paid are pretty close to identical- just a few change ups in flowers and imagery.
The albums are created using our coveted stock of 6″ x 6″ Square memory Hardware Albums (we are sold out otherwise on these albums). So no need to spend time binding the book. All set and ready to go for a fun time of embellishing. Lots of gorgeous Pion papers used int his album for al the layering. Frank does use a few decorative border punches from his stash to add a little more flair.
Between these albums, the brand new ScrapFx chipboard pieces we added earlier this weekend and the new Vintage Baby paper line from Maja Design, seems babies are on the mind all over the place. Why shouldn’t they be? Perfect topic for showcasing such a truly memorable point in our loved ones lives. And of course we won’t stop here with this topic. You are sure to see a kit or two featuring the Maja Vintage Baby line.
Thanks for stopping in – this girl is off to bed! Have a great night.
It’s not Frank Garcia‘s birthday today but it might as well be yours… we posted not one, not two but three kits all from the one and only Frank Garcia today!
First we have Frank’s last Live with Prima project, Le Collectionneur II available as a kit. This kit is loaded with the materials Frank used to create his beautiful album (see complete product description for details and substitutions based on product availability at time of kit). You can follow frank along on his video for the complete how-to instruction. We also included photos of the completed pages (please note no written direction is provided with Live with Prima kits).
Second, we have Frank’s next Live with Prima project, Aujourd’hui Layout, which will air on Tuesday, March 31st at 2:00 PM EST. Can’t make the lie show? No problem, they tape all recordings so you can watch at your convenience or as many times as you like. This is this first kit we were able to pull off in advance. Won’t it be fun to play at the same time Frank is going it? What better way to ask any questions you may have.
Both of the above projects feature Frank’s latest signature collection, The Archivist. If you haven’t gotten your hands on it, better do it before it’s all gone! And don’t get me started on his Memory Hardware line… drooling – the albums are the best quality I have seen and limited supply will make these in high demand.
Third, we are so honored to have Frank as our friend. He graciously made an exclusive album for us featuring the Paris line from Pion, Papillon II! The beautiful creams, pinks and blues make this a delightful album that makes you have to smile. The pop of color is just the thing for the coming months of spring (here in the US anyway). Please note these kits are so limited and doubtful we will be able to stock too many more in the future.
Thanks for checking in. Big day, huh? 3 kits? What were we thinking? 🙂 New products continuing to come in and more shipping notices that we will have lots of fun new goodies in now time. Next week kits… Maja Nowak and Gabrielle Pollacco!
Finally I am able to share the project I have been working on for a few weeks now. It is a bit time consuming as there’s lots of fussy cutting involved. But I couldn’t be happier with the results! When I saw Graphic45’s Time to Flourish paper line I HAD to have it and make an album. I haven’t done a video to date and this was not the project to start doing so as you would be bored to tears over the time pent cutting. It does come with 8 pages of color photos and directions of easy enough replicating. In fact, for once I think I did something sequentially easy to follow. Each page is built off of the same combination of layers making it an easy to follow kit despite the amour of fussy cutting. But ca you go wrong with the images Graphic45 uses? I for one think not.
Anyway… with 36 Sheets of Graphic45 papers, 30 sheets of Solid Cardstock and a 6×6 paper pad of coordinating papers, here’s a look…
I included a pocket for each month for memorabilia, cards or extra photos to slip in as well as a 3″ x 3″ photo mat and 4″ x 4″ mat on each monthly spread. Thinkign this is the perfect gift for a true loved one to highlight the major events throughout the year.
As I wasn’t sure how this would end up or the interest, I did only plan on limited quantities. If it goes real well, should be able to stock more but we shall see.
International Customers – the kit is over 4 pounds on it’s own. this means anyone purchasing beware it will have to ship priority. If you are planning on making a purchase of a few kits, we do cap the international shipping at $47. Just want to mention as the shipping on this kit alone might not pay. Of course we are happy to provide you with a price quote – just shoot us an email and let us know what country you are in and if you were interested in any other products.
Also want to point out this will be a HUGE week for kits…. early in the week we have an absolutely stunning layout from Gerry van Gent and on Friday we’ll have a double kit from Gabrielle Pollacco. As for Gabrielle’s kit that means 2 pages and 2 videos from her plus 2 bonus samples from me. It featured an amazing collection from LemonCraft (Poland) so it was just too much for a normal kit. 🙂
So with all this rambling, what does that mean? If you want this kit, the Time to Flourish Album Kit, I recommend ordering it ASAP – you can click the “Bill Me Actual Shipping” option so you are not charged shipping upfront. US customers – we have a coupon code on homepage – free shipping over $100 (happy to combine orders)… International customers, we addressed it about but again can combine for the flat rate max if need be of $47. Please add in notes – HOLD kit for additional order. Thank you.
Better late than never right? The Cafe Au Lait AlbumFrank Garcia made on Live With Prima last month is now available as a kit from The Scrapbook Diaires! This beautiful pastel album stands at 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″. You can see all the steps Frank took to make this one on Live With Prima here. When you purchase the kit, you’ll get just about everything needed to make this album on your own (see product details on product page here).
Isn’t it pretty? Love it! Such a beautiful array of flowers and lot so pockets on the inside for all kinds of possibilities.
Here are some inside pages…
Thanks for stopping by. More coming – a new layout from the one and only Gabrielle Pollacco!!! I do know this one is going to sell out quick and due to one of the products not being produced or available anymore… Oh reminds me – if you emailed me about Gabi’s last kit and are on the waiting list for the second batch – I will be emailing you today! Sorry it took so long.
Frank Garcia brings us another amazing installment in the La Vie Album range. For those of us who weren’t lucky enough to join Frank in Puerto Rico this summer, you now have the ability to get the kit of this one of a kind 8″ x 8″ album featuring his Cartographer line from Prima.
The kit is LOADED with products from Prima. You can follow Frank’s Live with Prima La Vie III episode where he shows online how to make an album from scratch. We also included color photos of each page along with some basic direction. You can find a complete list of products included on the product page here. Please note these are in limited quantity.
Happy Friday! Today I am happy to post an album I whipped up using the Graphic45 By the Sea line. It’s a great line with wonderful colors and icons to make fussy cutting a pleasure. The kit comes with materials and written directions. Sad to say but I haven’t tried a video and to be honest, it’s so cut and dry a video would be boring. The only medium I used was a little gesso to make the embellishments pop.
In addition to the album, we added a bunch of brand new Blue Fern Studios to the store. Some by yours truly and some from the ever talented Michelle Singh.
BoBunny came out with a stitches stamp. The Prima ones were so popular and have become impossible to source so this is a close second if you are looking for a straight line stitch stamp. In fact, the set includes 5 different style stitches in addition to some doilies, buttons, etc.
And last but not least for today, the so cute Mini Distress Ink Pads from Tim Holtz / Ranger. We added them to the store as the complete set- 9 packs of 4-colors. The full range! and what’s better since we bulked them together, we decided to give a little price break – get 9 sets for the price of 8.
That’s it. Next week…. Elena Tretiakova and Gabrielle Pollacco!
