The mix of orange and green on the brown background just works so well. To be honest, I was nervous at first about the colors – I love orange but never really use in scrapbooking I guess. I thought what if people don’t have a photo of the perfect sunset like Pascale had. Well was I wrong – as usual. 🙂 I chose a pic of my daughter holding a pumpkin and it was perfect!!!! Here’s what I did for the bonus page which had nothing to do with the orange and gold colors. Actually, I tried adding some blue color gelato to bring out their shirts but after making a mess of a few flowers I said, ah ha… you need the orange to work with the gold undertones and the techniques Pascale demonstrates in her video. In the end, couldn’t be happier with the result…
Love how it turned out and hope you do as well. Pascale is a mixed media expert and knows how to mix it all up for fabulous results. Thank you Pascale.
Please be sure to read full product description so you can see what is included in the different versions and chose what best suits your needs.
After working on this kit I realized we had a few kits using Gelatos. We’re bringing in the complete range of them and making them available on an individual basis. At $2.45 a stick, they’re a great way to add some color and pack a punch where you want and need. Expect them to be up on the site in the next day or two. We also have more new products that just came in which will be added tot he site… new LemonCraft and chippies from ScrapFx.We all need more hours in the day don’t we? We’l get there soon.
As for new kits coming…
- Gabrielle Pollacco brings us another stunning layout featuring those lovely lavender pieces from Scrapiniec
- Tina Ollett, one of the 49 and Market Design Team girls doe s guest spot for us here at The Scrapbook Diaries. Tina did a project for her DT assignment that we just had to turn in to a kit. She was gracious enough to redo it along with video tutorial so we can all enjoy.
- Nathmael has been busy and we need to catch up. Not sure which of the 2 projects she’s turned in for the next one but both stunning!
That’s it for me right now. Hope you are all off to a good start for December!
Thanks for stopping by,
