I am not quite sure why I like mushrooms but I do. And I should stop right there to clarify… I’m not talking about any illegal kinds. Just simply referring to the fact that I like the way they look as scrapbooking embellishments (grilled portobello’s are pretty good as well). I’ve had these dimensional mushrooms in the store for a month or two just waiting to figure out what to do with them. After a little cleaning and shifting of papers, I found these oldie but goody papers from Cosmo Cricket. They too have been pushed to the side just waiting for the right combo. I think I got it here on this layout (maybe it’s just me but I like it). Hope you do too….
This was a fun one with some gesso here… layers there… die-cuts, resin fairies… The list goes on.
After speaking with one of our wonderful customers Pam, I am wondering if the need to always include gesso is really there. I’d love some feedback on whether it’s a good thing to add a little when needed or if most of you have gesso on hand. As I’ve stated before, the cost of kits is pretty much for what is included. So a .5 oz bottle of gesso from Ranger is $2.50. Do you like it, need it or would rather save the $$? Please let me know by submitting your comments here. If you don’t want me to include it, you can always drop us a note in your order and we will refund the money.
Thanks for looking,
Janene
