Glimpse by Gabrielle Pollacco

Glimpse by Gabrielle Pollacco (MMK106)

She hardly needs and introduction, what do I say month after month… After all, anything Gabrielle Pollacco does is AMAZING!  Am I right or what?  Her latest kit, Glimpse, is nothing short of beautiful!!! Perfect for so may photos as the color scheme works just about anything – a birds nest like Gabi features, a cut of hot chocolate… loved ones on a holiday night (or morning)… just saying..anything will work with this one. How could it not? The kit features papers from Maja Design and a chipboard vine frame from Dusty Attic. All perfect pieces for a great layout. And not only does it showcase Maja papers perfectly Gabi does such a great job of mixing up papers from two different lines. She see papers from A Gift For You and Coffee in the Arbour. Contradicting lines in theory but as with so many Maja papers, they blend seamless! See for yourself.

Love it!  I always love them what can I say?  Well this I know… after following Gabi along on her tutorial and making my own… it was EASY to make a bonus sample on this one. The DeVine Chipboard frame from Dusty Attic has a bunch of extra pieces. I used the smaller frame and the corner piece (there’s even a second corner piece you can use on a third layout). Just love how it turned out…

In hindsight, maybe I could have added some more of the brown ink but I do love how these pages are contradicting in light and darkness and yet both complimenting each other. Enough on that ramble – hopefully anyone reading this knows what I mean with that one -coffee hasn’t kicked in yet this morning. 🙂

The kit is packed with yummy goodness… Maja Design papers (6 sheets in fact), Dusty Attic Chipboard DeVine Set and a custom set of chipboard Blue Fern Studios did for us. Mix that all up with some Prima flowers and… can you go wrong? We included a Chalk Edger Ink from Prima in Knotted Wood but not the Moss Lawn (green) one as it was used in Gabi’s previous Captured Harvest kit. If you didn’t get that one, no worries, you can order one here or use any green ink you might have on hand.

What more could you want? Well we want to say a little Thank You to you our customers…. we’re throwing in a blending tool from Tim Holtz/Ranger. Gabi uses one on her video showing how the tool blends the ink in to your page effortlessly.

So thank you for making 2014 the best year ever for The Scrapbook Diaries. We’ve got big things planned for 2015 but we’re not done with 2014 just yet!  Lined up…. This Friday Frank Garcia bring us another exclusive mini album. This one too features the Gif From You line by Maja Design. But unlike Gabi’s, there’s no mistaking it is a Christmas Album showcasing a winter wonderland. And next week, another layout from the very talented Keren Tamir that you are sure to like.

So be sure to check back often or friend us on Facebook so you don’t miss a thing.

Thanks,

Janene

Both pages came out so beautifully!!! And have a few goodies leftover, so made a third layout with leftovers and stuff from my stash!

Fabulous pages. As a long time admirer of Gabrielle Polacco it’s always a pleasure to see her work. This page today is awesome.
Janene’s journal page is also lovely art. So funny to see both the ladies work and to admire and compare how different they turned out. Thank you for sharing.
Would love to order from you. But shipping seems to be rather pricey… Hm hm.. Sigh…
Thanks again for sharing inspiration. Sending hugs from Monica… Spain
