Bloom & Grow by Di Garling

Bloom and Grow By Di Garling

I for one had a great time making the latest kit from Di Garling. As always, Di brings a stunning layout mixed with colors that really pop.  Her latest kit, Bloom and Grown (MMK132), mixes orange and pink in such a fantastic way.  It was a treat to follow along on Di’s creative journey. I love how mine came out and not to toot my own horn but I have to say the bonus sample came out great too.  I might have over done it on the flowers but is there really such a  thing as too many flowers? 🙂 See for yourself…

Is Di a scrapbooking genius or what? I love all of her work. This layout… just fabulous! Di shows us her creative process on the online tutorial that you get access to when you purchase the kit.  The 2Crafty chipboard pieces used are also beautiful.  Those hearts… drooling! So dainty and yet just draw your eye in. As always, thank you Di for another great kit!

I also need to point out Di used one of my all time favorite stencils on this layout, 6×6 Sketch Grid from Crafters Workshop. It’s so simple and dainty, perfect for a little texture right where you need it. Since my bonus sample used a lighter colored paper, I thought it needed a bit more color so I used the Coral Me Crazy Dazzlerz that comes in all kits as the texture over the stencil. Love it!

The kit comes with materials listed in product description. If you need the extra mediums like Old Rose Chalk Edger, Gold Ink, Shabby Shutters, I’m Not Limon’ Inglinkz, etc., you can purchase the Plus kit. Complete kit includes all those plus the stencil. Please be sure to read description for all details and versions.

Lots going on and coming up… kids are headed to camp next week so hoping to be way more productive in the coming weeks. We have new Blue Fern Studios being added any day now as it is here. Dusty Attic is on the way. Just ordered another LemonCraft line that looks equally as delicious as their last two. What else? Who knows. Kits… lots coming. So check back soon.

thanks,

Janene
